SP Monitor is a monitoring solution designed specifically for incident management and IT service availability. It provides real-time management of IT infrastructure events while correlating them to business processes.

Real-Time infrastructure event monitoring and classification
SP Monitor collects infrastructure events in Real-Time and classifies them by source or severity allowing clearer understanding and faster intervention. SP Monitor features its own monitoring modules, allowing testing of distant servers, SNMP devices or Web sites. It receives event data from any Sysload module installed on the infrastructure as well as integrating third-party event sources, including SNMP traps.
Event correlation for impact assessment purposes
SP Monitor's event correlation engine generates instantly readable indicators that help assess the impact of events on the application availability or on the service provided to a group of users at a particular geographic site.
Event escalation and traceability
SP Monitor allows the distribution of event data among different incident management teams according to event severity or status or whether the event affects a system, application or a geographical area.
Following ITIL best practices (V2 and V3), SP Monitor follows up and traces incident escalation processes from initiation to resolution. Data logged in connection to such processes can be exported to external databases.

SP Monitor logs all the tasks executed by its on-board
monitoring modules: IP address ping, HTPP URL scan, POP server test, etc.
